Of course, if you can’t give it her on that day – face it we all have bills to pay – put a picture of the item in the card. Then take her to the jewelry store later that day so she can at least touch the item you’ve selected. She will love it even more for the thought and time you’ve put into selecting this gift.

Spend the day doing what she wants to do. Let her choose your activities and don’t say a word if she insists on taking you for a manicure. Simply enjoy the time you have together because it truly is precious. When you feel the time is right, say something mushy to your beloved and grace her with whatever other present you may have. And when you get home, well, make her feel like a Queen as you snuggle together on the couch, in bed, on the pile of blankets on the floor…you get the picture. Let her know that she is truly special. Above all else, give her a gift from the heart. That will mean more than any material possession that may accompany it.
